When I started in Tradehouse, a glass collector at 18, I would have never imagined I’d be Assistant Bar Manager some day. It started as a part time job while I was in college and now it’s a career that I love.
Funnily enough, hospitality was never something I saw myself in until I joined the Tradehouse team and developed a passion for it.
I’m 23 now so I’ve been with Tradehouse for almost 5 years. The favourite part of my job has always been the atmosphere of the busy bar since day one. I love the buzz of the live music and the good vibes within the team when the bar is packed.
As Assistant Bar Manager, one of the things I try to do is make sure that while all the staff are working well and giving the best service they can, that the staff moral is kept high and the energy in the bar is positive at all times.
I can’t wait to see what my future holds here at Tradehouse.
